 What is the S'market?

The S'market is a pilot by the SnapScan team, aimed at connecting users with merchants, and acts as a place to showcase some of our favourite merchants and their e-commerce websites.

 

Why does Bob sometimes not work?

Bob is an experimental AI and unfortunately he still has some kinks to work out. He may occasionally time out when hitting our servers or provide information which is not 100% accurate. If you experience any of these issues you can try prompting him again or waiting a few minutes. Alternatively you can browse the S'market with the shuffle button in the interim. 

 

 How do I earn rewards?

Payments must be completed using SnapScan. Credit/debit card, as well as SnapScan Wallet can be used within the app. When making a purchase you will only earn rewards when buying through SnapScan directly and not through partners such as Payfast or MasterPass. You won't be able to earn rewards after August 15th.

 

 Where can I spend my rewards? 

Rewards can be used at any merchant listed on this website - as long as you pay using SnapScan. Unfortunately you cannot spend your S'market rewards at any physical locations, even if they are listed on the S'market.

 

 How do I use the earned rewards?

When checking out out on the merchant's website, select SnapScan as a payment method and either scan the QR or tap the pay link to pay using your SnapScan app. Select the S'market Rewards wallet as a payment method underneath the amount. For more info you can follow the steps here

 

Does my S'market Credit expire?

Your S'market Credit will expire in the first week of every month, starting from April 2024. Make sure you spend it before it's gone!

 

 Who can I reach out to for any queries?

In the case that there is something you wish the ask about, you can contact help@snapscan.co.za. SnapScan cannot assist you with any queries related to delivery on items you may purchase at one of our S'market merchants. For queries on items purchased, please contact the merchant directly.
